Joining SAAUC
SAAUC’s joining subscription is $35 for an individual, family or business membership, and annual renewals are $30. Subscriptions are payable at the Reception desk to the Membership Secretary at one of the monthly meetings, or by posting a cheque, payable to SAAUC Inc, to:

The payment should be accompanied by the application form which is part of a brochure available from most Apple resellers, or by download (320K PDF) for viewing or printing. Please give us the details requested to let us know of your interests and requirements, and to enable us to keep you informed of club activities.

You can also pay by direct debit. Please write the transaction number on your form before posting it.

- Member name: South Australian Apple Users’ Club Inc (abbreviate or truncate if necessary)
On the Transfer Form there will also be a field probably called ‘Reference’. This is usually used for the account number displayed on a bill. For a SAAUC payment, enter your name (last name first name) and ‘subs’ so we know who the payment is from and what it is for. As the field is limited to 16 characters, you may need to truncate your name a bit while still keeping it recognisable.
Savings & Loans members should select ‘To Another Financial Institution’ rather than ‘Between Accounts & Across Memberships’ (even though the transfer is to the same financial institution).
When this payment appears in our financial statement, the entry may display your Account, Name, or the contents of the Reference Field, or something quite unhelpful, such as ‘Payment’: it depends on your bank or credit union. So that we can match up these entries with expected payments, after you have made the funds transfer, send an e-mail message to the Treasurer at
with a subject something like ‘SAAUC payment’ to notify that you have made the payment, and include in the message:
- your name
- what the payment is for
- the payment date
- the amount
